Mary primarily supports activities for Children & Women’s services, but also works alongside countless other departments at Iowa Health Care. She assists in curriculum development, as well as logistical and tech support. (She is also everyone’s favorite emotional support colleague!) Currently, Mary is a TSDD educator and runs the SP program at CPSS, specializing in patient communication sessions. Her background in theater and improv provide crucial context for simulation, stressing the importance of empathy and humanity in the medical field. 

Mary loves her job, teaching yoga classes, directing musicals, and spending time outdoors.
