Amanda is beginning her first year at Iowa Health Care but is a life-long Hawkeye fan and Iowa alum. She is the point-of-contact for the CPSS team, and is known as Keeper of the Schedule, New Joe, or Joe 2.0. She assists with advertising, purchasing, organizing, and catering. Previously a preschool teacher, Amanda’s passion for community outreach and education drew her to the simulation center. She is eager to discover how accessibility can change the landscape of health care. 

Amanda loves her two senior cats, live music, and writing/reading poetry.
