On top of a busy schedule as a dad, the Clinical Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery, and the Program Director for the Thoracic Surgery Integrated Residency & Fellowship, Dr. Keech is also the director of our simulation center. His unwavering support, firsthand medical experience, and passion for education make him an invaluable part of not only our team, but of Iowa Health Care in general. Dr. Keech has been a champion for sim education for years at Iowa, and is always excited at the opportunity to share that knowledge both within and beyond our organization.

Dr. Keech loves spending time with family, traveling, and cooking anything & everything for people.
